John's Obituary:
John T. "Ol Man" Frizzell, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at a local health care facility.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Frizzell; brothers, Dick, Cotton and Perk Frizzell; sister, Teet Harvey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nora Frizzell; sons, Tim (Teresa) Frizzell, Tracy (Tonya) Frizzell; daughter, Karen (Richard) Stephens; brother, Jim Frizzell; sisters, Sue (Vernon) Orr, Evelyn (Hayden) Privett; grandchildren, Jonathan Stephens, Angel Frizzell, Marcus, Matthew and Jacob Burger.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Lamar Frizzell officiating. Interment will follow in Millsaps Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.

Nora Jane Frizzell, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. A longtime resident of Mowbray Mountain in Soddy-Daisy, she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her family and trips to Cherokee, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frizzell; parents, Hillard and Lilly Hatfield, several brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Tonya Frizzell and son-in-law, Richard A. Stephens, Jr.
Survivors are her children Tracy Frizzell, Tim Frizzell (Kristy) and Karen Stephens; grandchildren, Jonathan Stephens, Angel Frizzell, Katie Kilgore and Joseph Masters; great grandchildren, Aiden Frizzell, Emalyn and Adalyn Kilgore; siblings, David Hatfield, Nannie Johnson and Linda Grant (Josie); many nieces, nephews and extended family and longtime best friend, Cookie Leffew.
Services will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Millsaps Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or a charity of your choice in her memory.
