Obituary:
Carlos J. Millsaps, 71, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at a local hospital.
He was a member of Daisy Church of God were he served as a greeter and usher. He was also a member of the Gideon Bible Class.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Della Millsaps; and brothers, Arthur, W.R., Billy, Lloyd; sister, Lucille.
He is survived by his wife, Maude Millsaps; daughters, Pam Allen, Pat Morrison, Carla Downs; brothers, Raymond Millsaps, Leland Millsaps; sister, Evelyn Lewis; grandson, Joey Atchley.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Millsaps Cemetery with Bishop Warren Beaver, Bishop Rick Smith, Bishop Clayton Privett and the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
