Donald Carl Kaye, 83, of Soddy Daisy passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was a member of Carpenters Church. He was also a member of the Plumbers Union Local #55. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kaye; and sister, Joan E. Tyler.
Survivors include his son, Charles Kaye (Teresa); daughters Salina Jeckel (Richard), Dawn Ashby (Herbert); long-time companion, Pauline Stone; grandchildren, Mandi Greeson (Greg), Michael Jeckel (Stephanie), Michele Jeckel, Stephen Ashby, Nicholas Ashby, Joshua Ashby; and 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hearth Hospice, 1800 Rossville Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37408. Visitation is at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Obituary:
Virginia Hixson Kaye, 76, of Hixson passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was known by her friends as Boots. She was a member of Lupton City Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her brother; Harold Hick Hixson.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years; Don Kaye, sons; Kenneth and Richard Wilhoite, step-son; Charles Kaye, step-daughter; Salina Jeckel, brother; Tommy Hixson, 7 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain John McCarty officiating. Interment will follow in Foster Hixson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M.
