Virginia Ruth Long Hickman, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Ms. Hickman retired from Dupont. She loved her beloved bird Snowball and her cat Dink, she loved quilting and making dolls and she was an avid Lady Vol Fan.
Her granddaughter, Pamela Jean McDaniel, her parents and her brothers and sisters, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Massingill, Dianne (Tony) Tzimblakis of Lithia Springs, GA, Debbie (Carl) Garner of Soddy-Daisy, TN; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and special friends, Gypsy, Jeanette and Rosalee.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Art Coffman officiating.
Burial will follow in Sniedtman Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M. Sunday.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN.
