Beulah Harley Kirklen Potts, 91, of Hixson died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, in a local nursing home.

She was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius E. Potts; and sons, Kenneth, Charles, Harold and J.E. Jr. Potts.

She is survived by sons, Cecil L. Potts of Hixson, Walter R. Potts of Scottsboro, Ala., and Otis N. Potts of Graysville, Tenn.; daughters, Judy Shirley of Soddy-Daisy and Nancy Goodwin of Spring City, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Mr. Leon Potts officiating.

The interment will follow the service in Schnitmann Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153.
