Hattie Rae Farris, 51, of Hixson died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, John H. Farris; sons, Stan Farris, Jonathan M. Farris; brothers, Floyd, Joe, Buddy, Larry, Archie Reed; sisters, Sue Cope, Cathy Phillips, Tammy West, Kim Foster, Joann Peoples, Billy Jo Compton, Rose Camp; grandchildren, Dustin Farris, Jonathan Farris, Kristin Pardue.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dodd Cemetery with the Rev. David Stancil officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy for the Farris family.

John Farris' Obit
John “Big J” Farris, 64, of Hixson passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at a local hospital.
He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired school bus driver and was an avid C.B. operator.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Hattie Farris, parents; Jerry and Nettie Farris.
He is survived by his sons; Stan Farris, Jonathan Farris, brother; Deannie Farris, sister; Teresa Farris. 2 grandson that he was very fond of; Jonathan “Little Man” Farris and Dustin Farris.
Graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Dodd Cemetery with Rev. David Stancil officiating. Family will receive friends from 4-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
