Annette Parker
Annette Elaine Parker, 62, of Soddy Daisy, passed away March 9, 2020. She was an active member of Christ Family Church where she played the piano for several years. Annette was employed with the Hamilton County Department of Education for nearly thirty years and had been at Allen Elementary for the past seventeen years.
Her husband, Thurman Fredrick Parker; parents, Allen and Sylvia Shelton; brother, Robert “Bobby” Shelton and a sister, Kristie Renee’ Shelton, preceded her in death.
Annette was survived by her son, Nathan Parker; daughter, Erin (Chris) McNabb; sister, Bettye (Terry) Layne; grandchildren, Emma, Isaac and Evan Parker and a sister-in-law, Nancy Shelton.
Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Dodd Cemetery.

Thurman Fredrick Parker
Thurman Fredrick Parker, 64, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He attended Christ Family Church. Thurman was in the ministry from 1974 until he became disabled 11 years ago. He enjoyed being “Poppy” to his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Pearl Parker and 8 siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Annette Shelton Parker; son, Nathan Parker (Lindsey); daughter, Erin Parker; brother, Bobby Corder (Deana); grandchildren, Emma, Isaac and Evan Parker and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Dodd Cemetery with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
