ADAMS – CARL MITCHELL, 83, of Route 1, Sale Creek, died Sunday in a Chattanooga hospital.
A lifelong resident of the Sale Creek area, he was a retired supervisor from Graysville Hosiery Mill and was a member of Graysville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Keith Adams, and his parents, John and Melissa Shelton Adams.
Survivors include his sister, Cecil Maida Craun, Hixson; one niece, two nephews. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Craun officiating. Arrangements by Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Dayton, Tenn.

ADAMS – LUCILE K., 81, of Route 1, Sale Creek, died Monday in a Chattanooga hospital. A daughter of the late Neely and Elizabeth Shipley Keith, she had been a member of Graysville (Tenn.) United Methodist Church for 67 years.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Adams, Sale Creek; sister, Irene Presley, Hixson; brother, Varner Keith, Red Bank; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Howard and the Rev. Cecil Craun officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Graysville United Methodist Church.
Arrangements by Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Dayton, Tenn.
