Mary Archer Murphy, 78, of Drummonds, passed away on Wednesday, May 23. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. She was the widow of Lewis Murphy and the former owner of El Toro Taco in Millington. She is survived by seven daughters, Liberty Dawn Rasar of Millington, Georgia Ann Murphy of Memphis, Pamela Sue Clark of North Carolina, Anita McGill of Munford, Elizabeth Gail Wright of Drummonds, Mary Dianne Watkins of Drummonds and Lisa Ann Hughes of Brighton; two sons, Patrick Murphy of Memphis and Gerald Murphy of Drummonds; one sister, Carolyn Beasley of Lexington, TN; 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Murphy and one brother, Farris Archer
