November 7, 1934 - January 25, 2014
Bettie J. Galaway, 79, of Brighton, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 25. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 31 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Lexington, TX to the late Jasper and Lucille Jones and was a retired office manager with Paul Johnson Realtors. She is survived by her husband, Jerry M. “Mike” Galaway of Brighton; four sons, Bruce Ellard of Murfreesboro, TN, Kenneth Ellard of Virginia Beach, VA, Vince Ellard of Nashville, TN and Michael Galaway of Brighton, TN; two daughters, Gena Parks of Ozona, TX and Rhonda Albright of Midland, TX; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
