October 1, 1927 - April 10, 2008
Fred Moore, 80, of Brighton, passed away Thursday, April 10 at Methodist Healthcare North in Memphis. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a TV Repairman, owner of Sight and Sound in Covington and an Army Veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife, Rachel Louise Moore; three daughters, Terry K. Pevahouse of Linden, TN, Amanda C. Caudle of Covington and Phyllis Jean May of Brighton; one son, Gary Fred Moore of Brighton; one sister, Colleen Moore of Memphis; one brother, Max Moore of Memphis; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
