July 13, 1927 - August 3, 2016
Rachel L. Moore of Brighton passed from this life to a much better life on August 3, 2016. She was 89. She leaves behind three loving children, Terry Pevahouse of Ludowici, GA and Amanda Moore and Gary Moore, both of Brighton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis May in 2013 and her husband, Fred Moore in 2008. She also leaves nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 6 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
