Married 50 Years
Walter McIntosh, 75, of Covingotn, passed away on Friday, December 2 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 5 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4 at the funeral home. He was a retired facilities management director at Naval Support Activity Memphis and a U. S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by two daughters, Dawn McIntosh (Lee) Johnston of Henning and Stacy McIntosh (Parker) Fullen of Ripley; one son, Russell (Amy) McIntosh of Millington; two sisters, Ann McIntosh Strong and Myrna McIntosh (Billy) Myers, both of Covington; nine grandchildren, Kaci (Michael) Racine, Madison Hanks, Molli Hanks, Mac Fullen, Payne Fullen, Nix Fullen, Eva McIntosh, Ella McIntosh and Walt McIntosh and one great grandchild, Kasen Racine. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Nix McIntosh.
