Pamela J. Shires, 50, homemaker, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, April 7. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 8 at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Tim Shires; two sisters, Sharon Ball of Lake, WV, and Kelly Diffee of Atoka; three brothers, Donald Williams of Birmingham, AL, Allen Barton of Millington and Robert Barton of Munford and a host of nieces and nephews.
