On March 11, 2006,in Rhea County Tennessee, a small two story frame house was destroyed in an early morning blaze. There were ten family members home at the time of the fire. All nine that perished were on the second floor, while the only survivor was on the ground floor. The decision was made by other family to have all nine family members killed cremated. The mother and grandmother of those killed died less than a year before this tragedy and was also cremated, so the decision was made to take her ashes along with seven of the nine and place them in one grave. Two of those killed had their ashes returned to their father in Florida. Those were Angel & Lexie Weeks.
