Julia Ann McCanless (McCandlis?) was married in Lincoln Co, TN to Green Berry Evans on 24 Sep 1868. They had 3 children. She and her husband were buried in the Fayetteville Quadrangle of the Kennedy-Thomison Cemetary, and her death date is given as 1926 on the tombstone. The cemetary is on Hwy 231, 2 1/2 miles north of Fayetteville, TN. Her granddaughter, Jessie McCanless Evans, was named for her.
