Mary White Keeble

The following was provided by Linda Kay Baker
Mary White Keeble was my 4th
great-grandmother. Her middle name was
White and she was a Keeble before she
married, she was married to her uncle
William Keeble. William Keeble donated the
land to the community and it had no name for
many years it was just the graveyard in
Walland, around 1935 to 1940 people started
referring to it by Keeble cemetery. A
Baptist church was established on land
beside the graveyard, the land was donated
by William and Mary Keeble's granddaughter,
Martha Keeble Humphrey, and they asked that
it be called Keeble Chapel.
