Sarah Elizabeth Frizzell, Age 93, of Hixson, passed away on May 22, 2019.

She was a member of the Middle Valley Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her son, James Mitchell Frizzell; father and mother, Norman and Ada Morgan; sisters, Margarett Ervin, Pauline Shannon, and Virginia Nolan; and brothers, Eugene and Leroy Morgan, all of Soddy Daisy, TN.

Sarah is survived by her husband, Herbert “Sonny” Frizzell of Hixson; daughter, Agnes (Don) Bice of Graysville; sons, Frank (Patsy) Frizzell and Larry (Jean) Frizzell of Soddy Daisy; brother, James Leon Morgan of Scottsboro, AL; several nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Mitch McClure and Bishop Bobby Scott presiding. Burial will follow at Dividing Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday May 24, 2019 at the funeral home.

A special thanks to Pete and Margaret Smith, Evelyn Caldwell, and devoted friends and caregivers, Martha Jean and David Mason.
