Milton "Dink" Masterson, 80, of Hixson, TN slipped away Friday, March 29, 2013, with his family at his side.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Milton had attended Calvary Baptist Church and Dividing Ridge Church of God.

He had worked for many years as a carpenter. He was a lifetime member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

His love for gardening and the outdoors will be remembered.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Alta and Monroe Masterson; brothers, Marvin, Merrell, Marshall, Melvin and Monroe, Jr.; sisters, Marjorie Hammonds, and Rose Marie. He was also preceded in death by infant son, Jeffrey.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Rema Masterson; son, Randall (Donna) Masterson; daughters, Kimberly Miller and Angela Masterson; granddaughter, Nancy Miller; sister, Marlene Harbin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Kelley and Pastor Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in Dividing Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from Noon until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN.
