Mary Louise Tapp, 64, died on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at a local hospital.
She was a member of Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas E. Hood.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Hood, of Sweetwater; daughter, Rhonda Tapp, of Chattanooga; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Crystal Tapp, of Ringgold; brother, Tommy Hood, of Sweetwater; sisters, Lynda Kerr, of Sweetwater, and Lori Labanowitz, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Chad Tapp, Madison Tapp, Macy Tapp, Matthew Lockhart and Lauren Ward; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Bartlebaugh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 12-2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
