*Obituary:
Mary Green Hartman, 77, of Hixson, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a former Deputy Court Clerk for the U.S. 6th Federal District. Mary was a very active historian, and had a passion for researching her ancestry.
Her parents, Oba and Cleo Green; a son, Jason Hartman, a sister, Joyce Louise Adkerson and a nephew, Jimmy Adkerson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Todd Hartman; a niece, Connie Parsley; a nephew, Stan Adkerson and a great-nephew, Steven (Dona) Harvey.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Combs, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
