Mr. Arvel Delano Pugh age 74 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Born on January 22, 1935, in Loxley, Alabama, he was a dairy farmer, a member of People of the Living God Church, and was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mamie Ryees Pugh.
Survivors include his wife Adina Dockum Pugh of McMinnville, TN, sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Tina Pugh of McMinnville, TN, and Tony and Susan Pugh of Rock Island, TN, and their grandchildren Stephen Pugh, Kristy Pugh, Faith Pugh, Kelly Campbell, and Olivia Farr.
Funeral service is 2:30 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the People of the Living God Church. Rev. Randall Walton will officiate. Interment will follow at Homeland Acres Cemetery in Grundy County, TN. The Pugh Family will receive friends on Friday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. On Saturday family and friends will gather at the church.
