Rev. Walter G. Dixon "Jerry" "Dumplin" God called him home to be with him on December 11,2009 Preceded in death by Father Dewey T. Dixon & Mother Naomi Melinda Kingsley Dixon, Brothers Bobby Dixon, Dewey Dixon jr "Dude". He was survived by his loving wife Doris Dixon of 43 years. Sons: Henry "Gene" Dixon & Margaretha Dixon, Donald Dixon & wife Toni, Tony G. Dixon & wife Candice & Family Daughter Melissa Dixon Sparks & husband David Sparks. He had 8 Grandchildren: Elizabeth Dixon Phinney, Anthony Dixon, Derek Dixon, Joseph Dixon, Lil David Sparks, Angel Dixon, Hope Dixon, Connor Dixon. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Kasina Phinney, Kora Phinney, Liam Phinney. Sisters: Debbie Dixon, Juanita Nuchols, Mona Cupp & Brother Steve Dixon. Special Daughter: Anna Kelley. He was a member of IBEW Local Union 270 for 35 years, Retired for 5 Years. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Church. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday December 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Family and Friends will meet at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 16, 2009 at Dotson Memorial Cemetery for a Graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home
