1928 - February 11, 2011
Ralph A. Cox, age 83, of Bristol, TN passed away on Saturday, February. 12, 2011 at the Wellmont Hospice House. He was born in Scott County, VA a son to the late Reuben and Emma Pearl Droke Cox. Mr. Cox was employed at Beecham Laboratories for 48 years and along with that raised cattle for many years. Ralph was a United States Navy veteran serving during World War II where he was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Hal D. Cox, Perry D. Cox,and Fred G. Cox.
Survivors include: Wife of 58 years – Norma Trivett Cox
Brother – Wayne Cox
Special sisters-in-law – Dorothy T. Smith and Evelyn Cox
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Glenwood Mausoleum with Rev. Steve Playl and Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be registered at
