BRISTOL, Tenn. Robert Landon Hale, age 65, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 20, 1945, to the late William and Viola Lois Hale and was a life-long resident of the Bristol area. He is survived by wife of 46 years, Peggy Jo Hale; sons, Daniel Malone and Ronnie Malone; daughter, Viola Hill; son, Bobby Hale and wife, Kimber; daughter, Stella Lunsford and husband, Blane "Curly"; 11 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; brothers, Earl Hale, Ronnie Hale, Bobby Hale and Gene Hale. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Freddy Booher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Glenwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Weaver Funeral Home. A special thanks to Dr. David Beckner for his special care.
