Mabel Morris Greene, 95, of Bristol, Tennessee, died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Wise County, Virginia, to the late Joseph Garfield Morris and Mary Bell Hall Morris, and had lived in Bristol since 1955. She retired from Terry?s Potato Chips in 1975 and was a member of Volunteer Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Orville N. Greene; two daughters, Sandra Marie Mann and her husband Stanley and Barbara Lee Hollis; two sons, Larry Samuel Greene and his wife Agnes and Jimmy David Greene and his wife Debbie; sisters, Shirley Cross and Beatrice Swanson; brothers, Kenneth Morris and Claude Morris; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 6 o'clock Monday evening, March 17, 2008, in the Paul Cook Memorial Chapel of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Jordan and Rev. Tony French officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Heritage Chapel of Memories at Glenwood Cemetery.
