September 22, 1951 - September 13, 2013
Guyva Maria Payne, age 61, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 13, 2013 at Greystone Heathcare. She was born September 22, 1951 in Bristol, VA. Guyva was a former nurse and worked at various hospitals including Sinai Hospital, Bristol Memorial and Johns Hopkins where she worked in pediatrics ICU. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Clayton Payne and her brother Gary Payne.
Survivors include:
Mother: Grace A. Payne
Sister: Gale M. Payne
Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Uncles
Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Monday, September 16, 2013 in the Glenwood Mausoleum with Rev. Roger Ball officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service at the mausoleum.
