Alma Lorine Broyles, 80, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2011 at Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, TN. She was a daughter of the late James Walter Dickenson and Muriel McGlothlin Dickenson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dixie Meadows and son, Kenneth King. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star #162. She is survived by daughter, Donna Edens and husband Terry of Bristol, TN; son, Michael King and wife Nancy of Bristol, VA; daughter-in-law, Janice Fleenor; step-son, Fred Payne and wife Joan; niece, Tracy Roark; and seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Montgomery officiating. The committal service and entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in the Heritage Chapel of Memories at Glenwood Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Fields, Tyler Fields, Randy Mikeal, Michael Fleenor, Brent Tyell, and Danny Leonard.
