Guy Bryan Arnold II BRISTOL, Va. A graveside service for Guy Bryan Arnold II will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, at 2:30 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 17, 2011, with the Rev. Gordon Goodgame officiating. The service is open to all friends and family. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be sent to Wellmont Hospice, 280 Steele's Road, Bristol, TN 37620, or Healing Hands, 210 Memorial Drive, Bristol, TN 37620. Guy Bryan Arnold II BRISTOL, Va. Guy Bryan Arnold II died Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Bryan was born in Bristol Virginia on Dec. 11, 1952. He was a son of the late Virginia Jones Arnold and Walter Davis Arnold. In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Alyson Arnold Lee. Bryan graduated from Virginia High School in 1971 and then joined the Marines, where he was a computer specialist. After serving in the Marines, he went to flight school and for many years flew cargo planes out of Dallas-Fort Worth and Hawaii. He lived in the Caribbean Islands for a couple of years where he flew vacationers from island to island. He also worked as a test pilot for Ultra Light Aircraft and flew helicopters in the coal fields of southwest Virginia. Following his flying career, he returned to Bristol where he worked as a real estate agent. Bryan's greatest joys in life were flying and his beloved dog, Jake. He is survived by his former wife, Linda Crusenberry Arnold of Bristol Virginia; sister, Ann Robinson Arnold Smith of Dallas; brothers, Robert Jones Arnold and his wife, Anne, of Louisville, Ky. and Walter Davis Arnold Jr., of Bristol Tennessee; niece, Virginia Alyson Arnold Smith of Dallas; nephews, Bertram Alexander Smith and Andrew Arnold Smith of Dallas, Robert Jones Arnold Jr., Winston Louis Arnold and William Richard Arnold of Louisville, Ky.
