Obituary for Howard White,
Howard Thomas White, Jr., age 55, 3448 Pearly Smith Road, Louisville, TN, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital, Knoxville, TN following a three year battle with cancer. A native of Bluff City, TN he was a son of the late Howard Thomas White, Sr. and Edelle Nickels White. He was a member of Allegheny Baptist Church, Maryville, TN. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bowman White of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jaima White, Louisville, TN; one granddaughter, Makenzie Gumm, Louisville, TN; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Kim White, Bluff City, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Early Darnell, Asheboro, NC; a special brother-in-law, Cotton Musick, Bristol, VA; special friends, Allen and Sandy Sawyer, Maryville, TN and Lois Jenkins, Bluff City, TN. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also survive.
The funeral service for Mr. White will be conducted at 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2005 at Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City, TN with Rev. Anthony Morgan officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City, TN. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 A.M. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Posey and men of Allegany Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday prior to the service in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home.
