James Jay Price, age 45, of Bristol, TN, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 at his home. He was born January 13, 1961 in Bristol, TN, a son of Carl J. and Charlotte Cornett Price. He was of the Baptist faith and has made his home in the Bristol area for the past 18 years. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather, Aries C. Cornett; father-in-law, Clarence Parks; and special cousin, Roger Lee Rosier.
Survivors include:
Wife of 25 years: Ruby Parks Price
Sons: Ben Price and Rubuen Price, both of the home
Parents: Carl and Charlotte Price
Grandmothers: Eula Rogers and Tessie Cornett
Sisters: Vicky Phillips and husband David, Lilly Price, Melissa Lunsford and husband Tracy and Melinda Carter
Brother: Gary Price
Mother-in-Law: Dorothy Parks
Sisters-in-Law and husbands: Reva and Bob Tittle, Teresa and Mike Doss and Molly and Gary Leonard
Brother-in-Law and wife: Lester and Sherry Parks

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 8:00 PM in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Sprinkle officiating. The burial will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 PM prior to the service.
