Obituary for Arnold Cressell
Arnold L. Cressell, 77, of 370 Fox Hollow Lane, Bluff City, Tennessee, died Monday, March 1, 2004 at Bristol Nursing Home, Bristol, Tennessee, following an extended illness. He was a native of Parrott, Virginia and the son of the late Terry Gilford and Annie Owens Cressell. Mr. Cressell was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one step son, Andrew Hyatt. Survivors include his wife Leota Cressell of the home; three sons, and daughters-in-law, Donald Lee and Jeanena Cressell , Dublin, Virginia, Roger Dale and Armeda Cressell of Hiwassee, Virginia and Arnold Edward and Rhonda Cressell of Pulaski, Virginia; one step son, Earl Fagans of Bluff City, Tennessee; two step daughters, Betty Humphreys of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Louise Gregg of Bluff City, Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and several step grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thanks to James and Nancy Fagans.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Tetrick Funeral Home- Bluff City Chapel with the Rev. Joe Cole and Rev. Jeff Millsaps officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be David Cressell, Edward Cressell, Kevin Cressell, Travis Cressell, Bobby Joe Gregg and Belinda Sue Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hyatt, Carl Gregg and Danny Gregg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 3, in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.
