Obituary for Noah Gregg
Mr. Noah Grant Gregg, 70, 380 Fox Hollow Lane, Bluff City, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Gregg was a native of Sullivan County and was the son of the late Grant and Lena Hawkins Gregg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Gregg was of the Baptist Faith and was the caretaker of Central High School. Mr. Gregg is survived by his wife, Louise Hyatt Gregg of the home; four sons, Noah Grant "Tubby" Gregg, Jr. Blountville; Billy Joe Gregg, Charles Gregg, Bluff City; Carl Gregg, Bluff City; two daughters, Wanda Shipley, Blountville; Nancy Hyatt, Bluff City; three brothers, Ike Gregg, Elijah Gregg, Blountville; Jake Gregg, Bristol, TN; a sister, Ollie Bell Potter, Bristol, VA; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Mr. Gregg will be conducted on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Bluff City Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Brown officiating. The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Cemetery, Bluff City. Pallbearers, minister, family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. Active pallbearers will be David Gregg, Grant Gregg, Randall Gregg, Ray Hyatt, R.C. Hyatt and Everett Waldrup. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel prior to the service and at the residence at other times. Condolences may be sent to the family electronically by visiting and signing the guest book. Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City Chapel is serving the family.
