Isaac Lyle Harkleroad, age 80, of Bluff City, TN, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at Wellmont Hospice House. He was born December 10, 1930 in Bluff City, TN, a son of the late John and Pearl Harkleroad. Mr. Harkleroad was a retired Air Force Veteran and Civil Service. He was the author of Honeycomb Meadow.
Survivors include:
Wife: Drema Kennedy Harkleroad
Son: Steve Harkleroad and wife Vickie
Daughter: Debbie Huffer and husband Wayne
Step-son: Kenny Wood
Step-daughters: Vicki Whitaker and husband Greg, Denise Ellison and husband Rocky, and Amber Kennedy

Seven Great-Grandchildren
Sister: Mary Cross
Brother: Sidney Harkleroad and wife Aleda
Several Nieces and Nephews
Sisters-in-law: Charlotte Harkleroad and Jan Harkleroad
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bill Reed officiating. The burial will be held Sunday at 3:30 PM in the Sunrise Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 4-5:45 PM prior to the service.
