Obituary for Jevon Dayshawn Self
Jevon Lewis Dayshawn Self, age 8, of 1019 Panorama Street, Abingdon, VA died unexpectedly Saturday, May 24, 2008. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to Jason Self and Keyota Bell. He was a student at Holston Elementary for two years and attended Watauga Elementary for the past two months. He was preceded in death by his Granny Brenda Self in 2007. Survivors in addition to his parents include two sisters, Jaden Lashe Bell and Jyonna Lakeysha Self; maternal grandparents Johnny Lewis and Benetta Bell; paternal grandparents, Randall and Marsha Self; special friend, Donald Davis and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service for Jevon will be conducted at 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Tetrick Funeral Home ? Bluff City Chapel with Rev. William Austin and Pastor Jimmie Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M., Wednesday prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. The graveside service and interment will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Sunrise Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Pallbearers, ministers, family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M., Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Tetrick Funeral Home, P.O. Box 425, Bluff City, TN 37618, to help with the unexpected funeral expenses.
