William “Bill” Cogdill, age 57 of Sevierville, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Fort Sanders Regional in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by ex-wife Veda Gibson, parents Ashley and Lillie Cogdill, brother Charlie Cogdill, and sisters Jestine Green, Lottie McMahan, and Ollie Bell Smith Cogdill.
Survivors:
Daughter and son-in-law: Angela Michelle and Chris Rimmer
Brothers: Troy, Roy, and Cagle Cogdill
Sisters: Mary Ruth Cogdill, Katherine Teaster, Barbara Reagan, Pauline Haun
Many nieces and nephews
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to benefit the family, c/o Atchley Funeral Home, 118 East Main Street, Sevierville, TN 37862.
Funeral service 2 PM Thursday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Ball and Rev. Clay Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Elkmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
