Our Much Loved Son
Christopher Allan Simonson, 19, of Signal Mountain went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2015.
Chris was born in Chattanooga on July 9, 1996. He played football for Signal Mountain Middle School and baseball for Red Bank All Stars. Chris was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying four wheeling and dirt bike riding, camping and fishing, as well as playing video games. Most of all, he enjoyed his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Denise Simonson; father, Richard Simonson; brother , Austin Bailey and wife, Olivia; paternal grandmother, Anne Monroe; maternal grandparents, Albert and Thelma Lewis; cousins, Ben Ellis, Brett and Kade Simonson, Justin, Adrien, and Kayla Hudson; Jacob and Eli Simonson, and Corey Lewis, Brian and Elise Potter; and several uncles and aunts.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 20th at 1:00 PM at Community Baptist Church in Signal Mountain. Rev. Richard Horner, Rev. Mark Miller, and Rev. Glenn Morgan will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM on Thursday, November 19th at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.
