Ralph Kenneth Milliken Sr., 72, of Harrison died Friday, March 8, 2002 at his residence.
Mr. Milliken had lived in the Chattanooga area for most of his life and was a member of the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Germany after WWII where he reached the rank of corporal. Mr. Milliken had worked for the Cavalier Corp. furniture plant for many years, and also the Eastside Utility District in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Z.R. and Rena Milliken.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Kenneth Jr. and Malinda Milliken of Chattanooga, Charles David and Judy Milliken of Soddy-Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Dwayne Riden of Chattanooga; and special care giver, Juanita Milliken of Chattanooga; three brothers, David and John Milliken of Hixson and Robert Milliken of Chattanooga; four sisters, Marguerite Stafford, Helen McGee, Jeannette Watts of Chattanooga and Ann Denham of Anna Maria Island, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jill Tallent, Christy Rodriguez, Melissa and Carson Riden, Taylor and Katie Milliken; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel with Rev. Brian Welch and Rev. Don Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the Highway 58 Chapel of Tuner Funeral Homes
