William R. "Bill" Henry, 56, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, in a local hospital.
Mr. Henry was retired from DuPont as a machinist, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lenard Henry; and sister, Joyce Posey.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Henry of Soddy-Daisy; special friend and companion, Anna Sue Taylor of Soddy-Daisy; son, Ryan Henry of Dandridge, Tn.; daughters, Amber Sparks of Virginia, Brandy Henry of Ga.; brothers, Jimmy Henry of Hixson, Sammy Henry of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Dustin Sparks, Shelby Sparks, and Dakota Henry.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Lasley officiating.
Interment will follow in Wilcoxen Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
