Charles D. Stiles Sr., 76, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at a local hospital.
He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, and co-owner of Stiles Insurance in Murphy, N.C.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Linda Stiles; sons, Charles D. and Mary Sue Stiles Jr., of Ellijay, GA, and Michael Stiles of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Betty Jean and Morris Holland, of Tarbor, N.C.; brothers, W.L. "Bob" and Doris Stiles, of Murphy, and Kermit and Ann Stiles, of Murphy; sister, Helen and David Jarrett, of Murphy; and granddaughters, Sabrina Stiles, Tasha Stiles, of Soddy-Daisy, Mrs. Rachel Aaron, of Athens, Robin Ellis, of Tarbo, N.C.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sam Philips officiating. Interment will follow in Wilcoxen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
