Emon “Junior” Landreth, Jr., 80, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Saturday, March 8, 2008 in an area hospital.
He retired from Combustion Engineering and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emon “Bud” and Florence Landreth; brothers, William, W.D., Robert and Arnold Landreth; sister, Reba Rector.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Landreth of Soddy-Daisy; Eddie Landreth of Chattanooga and Mike Landreth of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Kay Sherril of Chattanooga and Glenda Smith of Soddy-Daisy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Painter and Rev. Charles Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Wilcoxen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, Tn. 37379.
