James Lee Rueben "Pete" Woods Jr. died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at his home.
He was 55. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Rueben Woods Sr. and Mary Woods.
Survivors include his wife, Roxanne Wood; five sons, Damien Lee Woods, Jeremiah Lee Woods, Antonio Moore, all of Chattanooga, James Lee Woods III and James Lee Woods IV, California; four daughters, Rosalind Woods, California, Evelyn Woods, Mary Ann Woods and Sanessa Saxton, Chattanooga; four sisters, Dorothy Woods, Perlie Knuckles, Carolyn "Kitty" Wadley, Chattanooga, and Jane Dixie, Lynwood, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today at 11 a.m. at Summitt Community Cemetery with pastor Kevin Adams Sr. officiating.
Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home.
