Charles Aaron Butler was born December 13, 1947 to Aaron and Loice Butler in Chattanooga, TN.

Charles loved his family and fishing. He had a big heart and would help anyone.

He was the oldest brother of seven children. Known for his kindness and making people laugh, his favorite sayings, “Chill out” and “I’ll bust you up”.

Charles departed this life on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Erlanger Hospital.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories, four sisters, Willene Hudgins, Gloria Dean Hayes, Mable (Walter) Mayweather, Thois (Edward) Bentley; one brother, Manuel (Donna) Butler; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; other relatives and dear friends.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Franklin-Strickland Chapel.

Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Summit Community Cemetery in Summit, TN.
Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin -Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37404, 423-265-4414.
