Marvin Lucious Menifee Sr., 20, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, the Rev. Lucious Menifee Sr.
He is survived by his son, Marvin Lucious Menifee Jr.; mother and stepfather, Jacqueline and Charles Motley, Nashville; father and stepmother, Marvin and Candice Menifee; two sisters, Jacobi King, Nashville, and Ta m my Sparks; two brothers, Tava ras and Dayonte Menifee; grandmothers, Betty King and Louise Menifee; greatgrandmother, Marie Hemphill; special friend, Nicole Jones; and several other relatives and friends.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Glenn and J.W. Strickland officiating.
Interment in Summit Memorial Garden.
Family will receive friends tonight from 7-8 p.m. at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.
