Carrey Garrett Jr.
Carrey Leon 'Simon' Garrett Jr., 37, of Dayton, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 from his earthly home.
He was a member of Gamble Road Baptist Church.
He preceded in death by his father, Carrey L. Garrett Sr. known as "Turtle".
He is survived by his wife of almost 19 years, Debra "Bear" Garrett; one son, Carrey L. "Peanut" Garrett III; mother, Judy Garrett; grandparents, Bud and Jessie Ann Harden; sister, Tammy Ives; three nieces and five nephews.
The funeral service will be held today, Feb. 4, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Gurney Beard officiating.
Interment will follow in Holder Memorial Garden on Gamble Road.
The family will receive friends today up to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel, 622-3171.
