E.G. Peach
Emerson Gorman “E. G.” Peach, 79, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
E. G. was born December 10, 1936 in Princess Anne County, Va.
He was the owner of Economy Moving and Storage and was a member of Gamble Road Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Thomas and Ethel A. Peach, four brothers, Lewis Peach, H. T. Peach Jr., William Peach, Paul Peach, three sisters, Alma Allen, Myrtle Briggs, Virginia Brown, son Harvey Dean Peach and daughter, Darla Kay Tramel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris June Peach, two sons, Thomas Gene Peach, of Nashville, Matthew Peach, of Chattanooga, daughter, Kim Peach, of Athens, Tn., step-daughter, Suzie Henly, of Chattanooga, four grandchildren, Amanda Ray Milliken, James Wayne Cotton, Kaitlyn Ashby Porter, all of Hermitage, Tn., and Petty Officer 3rd Class Jonathan Peach, great granddaughter, Jasmyn Faith Milliken, of Hermitage, Tn., sister and brother-in-law, Thel and Bob Hamilton, of Graysville, Tn., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Hamilton and other ministers officiating. Burial will follow in Holder Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home.
