Corbert "Buck" Gross, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, in a local health care facility.
He attended Soddy Church of God and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lorene Gross of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Gene Gross and Charles Gross, of Sale Creek; stepson, Phillip Williams, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Dolly Dent, of Soddy-Daisy; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. James Bandy officiating. Interment will follow in Ware Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
