Obit:
William B. Benson, 92, of Sale Creek, died on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, in a Rhea County hospital.

His son, Billy Benson, preceded him in death.

Mr. Benson was a member of Sale Creek Church of God and he served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Benson; daughter, Mary Lou Sequita, Battle Creek, MI; brother, Ed Benson, Dayton, TN; sister, Maxine Lue, Dunlap, TN; stepson, Jerry and Diane Morgan, Sale Creek; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, in the chapel of Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Kenneth Bolton officiating.

Interment will follow in Lake Drive Cemetery.
