Charles D. Burroughs, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, died Monday, May 19, 2003, in a local hospital.

Mr. Burroughs was the former owner of Charlie's Restaurant in Soddy-Daisy for 32 years.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Lorraine Lewis, Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Kenneth Burroughs, Soddy-Daisy, and Billy Burroughs, Soddy-Daisy; and a nephew, Butch Burroughs, Soddy-Daisy.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today, graveside, at Union Fork Cemetery with Rev. Randy Franks officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be Morgan Lewis, Ken Howard, Jody Varner, Jerry Smith, Archie Alexander and Tressley Garren.

Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379, (423)332-1515.
