Obit:
Elbert B. Simpson, Jr., 78, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Friday, March 27, 2009. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mr. Simpson retired after twenty-one years of service as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force the he retired as a Electronic Technician with Eastern Airlines after nineteen years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Simpson; seven children and eleven grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2009,
at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson officiating. Interment will follow in Union Fork Cemetery with Military Honors.
He was greatly loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
